Internship

This is the first week of my internship, I’m working on the onboarding process. There are two types of thing that make me surprise.

One is the emotional quotient, most of the interns and the director of mine in the onboarding process have high EQ. They are good at communicating with others. They are confident, active and clear about the information that we want to express and the topic that they are asked to table about. They have enough ideas about any topic that director of onboarding process have. They are smart and friendly. This made me very confortable and happy to work there. One advantaget that I learn is that be clear about everything, don’t leave any confusion if possible. This is the most improtant thing to improve the efficiency about communication. There are other mission of the comany that I like and surprise me a lot, like over-communication, encouraging coffe chat with anyone in the company.

Another is about AI and transparency. All code and almost all document are accessible for everyone including interns. Transparency give the highest efficiency of communication and working. In terms of AI, at first, we have unlimited AI token. With mcp, AI agent have the access of everything inside the company, like users auth, interval documents, deploy tools, code, IM App. One prompt can publish a website, it’s a little bit crzy. I used AI agent pretty much in the recent half year, I thought I knew pretty much about AI coding, but this really surprise me a lot. I think the public computer world will become this way in the near future, but the situation inside the company definitely ahead of the ecosystem.

Overall, I’m very happy to see so much new thing in the company, It make me realize that there are much more I need to learn. Hearing new thing and opinion really statisfied my curisority, it’s a pretty great experience. Looking forward the journey in next four months.
